Starter Packs
Starter Packs help people who are trying to make a home from scratch
Many of us take for granted essential household items, such as cutlery, crockery and bed linen. Our starter packs are for new home makers in need.
The packs are FREE to eligible people.
Who are they for?
People in urgent need who are setting up a home with a new tenancy; for example leaving care, fleeing domestic abuse, on low income or who have been homeless
How does it work?
We only accept referrals from agencies. When we’ve received the completed referral form we make up the packs specific to your requirements, depending on how many people are in the household. Then we contact the client and organise the delivery of the packs.
What is in the pack?
Packs include some (or all) of the following items, depending on your needs:
- Kettle,
- Mugs,
- Plates and bowls,
- Knifes and forks, spoons,
- Duvet and pillow, bed linen,
- Household cleaning materials,
- Bath towels,
- Drinking glasses,
- Tea towels,
- Cooking pots/pans and other cooking utensils.
How can I get one?
The referral agency just needs to download our Referral Request form or by calling 01875 615797.
