Why volunteer?
Volunteering is proven to have many benefits. From increasing social interaction, to developing new skills. Many say they chose RECYCLING FIRST because it’s a practical way of helping others.
What could I do?
We are always keen to hear from anyone looking to support us, in our list are just some of the roles available. So if you think you have the time then please call to see what we can offer.
Our core roles are:
- Admin/Sales/Customer Service
- Marketing/social media
- Cleaning
- Repairs (White Goods or Furniture)
- Van / Warehouse Assistants
What commitment will I need to make?
The level of commitment varies depending on what you can offer and what role you are looking to fill. For example we ask anyone looking to go on the vans to be available 9:30am – 2.30pm at least one day per week.
Casual volunteers are welcome, and those looking to support us with events
would be much appreciated.
